Multilingua Devon was founded by Anil Lee in 2007 to meet the language needs of Devon's BME community and public services, expanding to Torbay and Plymouth. As a local, not-for-profit business, we’re deeply connected to the community and work closely with public and voluntary organisations.

We offer a personal approach, building strong relationships with our interpreters through in-person interviews and training workshops. To address the shortage of trained interpreters in the South West, we partnered with WEA SW to provide accredited Level 3 Community Interpreting Courses. Many of our interpreters were trained by Anil Lee, allowing us to match each job with the best-suited candidate based on their strengths and expertise.

We adhere to a strict Code of Practice and Ethics at Multilingua, ensuring professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity in all our interpreting and translation services. You can read more about this here.
