Interpreting
Multilingua provides Community Interpreting services for the local public sectors like NHS, including hospitals, DaAS, CAMHS, Crisis Team, AMHS, GPs, Dentists, Opticians, midwifery and health visiting appointments, schools, social services, local authorities and councils, solicitors and voluntary organisations that work with Domestic Violence victims and Drug and Alcohol Abusers.
Translation
Multilingua provides very varied written translation work, from complex documents like court orders and judgments, service agreements, Child protection reports, Child in need reports, pathway plans to simple appointment letters. We translate written documents from and into English. We also translate marriage, divorce and birth certificates and diplomas and medical reports.
Workshops
Multilingua runs regular interpreter training workshops. As well as improving our interpreters skills and understanding, we also try to run regular Safeguarding, Child Protection and GDPR training for our interpreters by inviting guest speakers. We also work very closely with local authorities to provide cultural training for carers who are planning to foster Unaccompanied Children Seeking Asylum and How to Use Interpreters for Service Providers.
